![]() ![]() Install the driver and you should be able to connect. Right click on it, and pick Run as Administrator again. After setting the compatibility mode, just to be sure, don't run the setup.exe file directly. Then go down to Privilege Level and pick run Select Windows 7 from the drop down list. Then select Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 7. Right click on the setup.exe file and click properties. If this works with the regular setup file I have no idea. I used the one in the DRIVER ONLY folder. If you have the drivers, find the setup.exe file to install the drivers. I got it working in Consumer Preview using these steps. I have the same adapter got a blue screen.
